Our shop is situated in the village of Porlock where the rolling hills of Exmoor meets the rugged coastline of the Bristol Channel, in the heart of Lorna Doone country; where over the centuries poets and authors have visited, stayed and written. People such as Coleridge, Shelley and of course R. D. Blackmore are all but a few who have benefited from the peace and tranquillity Exmoor offers.

We carry a good general stock of quality books, new, secondhand and antiquarian where the nucleus has been amassed over a good many years and is constantly changing. Our large range of Art related books is becoming increasingly popular with the student and collector alike.
